2.1 Company History

Jean's Tofu Delight had its humble beginnings in the kitchen of Jean Simmons.  It was in her kitchen that she first created the tofu pates that would soon become the basis for Jean's Tofu Delight. 

Initially, the tofu pates were sold in Jean's Tofu Delight Restaurant and in just a few stores in Richmond.  They proved to be so popular that Jean's Tofu Delight soon could be found in almost every supermarket in Richmond.  Over the next three years, Jean's Tofu Delight has become one of the city's most visible signs of a healthy lifestyle.

Jean's Tofu Delight's operations has expanded dramatically over the past three years.  Currently, the company has a staff of ten in production, delivery, and sales.
