How do I quote for providing an Office Cleaning Service ?

I need assistance in preparing a financial forecast for an Office Cleaning Service.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to charge for my services.

Hi Aubrey,

I've attached a sample plan for a cleaning service: http://www.bplans.com/cleaning_service_business_plan/executive_summary_fc.php#.UCE3T6DQgcs

While it may not be exactly the same as your business, it should look similar, and give you a good idea of where to start on the financials.

Also: have you tried browsing the web to see how much similar businesses are charging for their services? A quick Google search and I came up with a handful of office cleaning services in my area that had quote forms that can be submitted online--it is easy to see what your competition is charging. Good luck!

Thanks for your response.

I am quite familiar with the Sample Plans, as I have been using Business Plan Pro for quite some time.

However, If you read your sample Business Plan for "Mother". as well as the one for the "Janitorial Service", you will see that there is no detail regarding the exact process of how to charge for your Cleaning Services.

On the Web, some charge per Hour, some per square foot, and some per Job.

It seems to be a mixture of everything.

But thanks anyway.

I am still doing some more research. As I saw somewhere, the guy said that if you are not making money, you are charging too little. And if you are not getting Jobs, you are charging too much.
