You might want to start by determining what price you can charge for your products in order to make them appealing to the customer. From there, work backwards.
Carefully determine your cost of goods sold, including hard goods/materials as well as labor costs. The difference between your selling price and costs will help you determine a margin. There are other factors that impact overall profitability, such as marketing expenses, but that's still a good, basic place to start.
