How long should a good business plan be?

I am 21 years old, I have a very limited budget, and I have had the pink sheet of paper that says I own my own company in the state of Virginia for close to a year now. Now I have cleaned offices for my Uncle with his company and i wanted to start my own, but unlike him i don't have $3 - 4 thousand dollars to start with. I'm starting from the Ground up and not really sure what I'm doing. Any Advise is welcome; Even if its to say I'm crazy.
